Great locals cafe and art gallery- Excellent selection of sculpture , paintings, creative beachcomber creations. There was a wonderful group of artists set up at a table doing their watercolours and chatting. This really adds to the atmosphere! We didn’t stop for coffee or food but bought some art.

Great atmosphere, food is expensive and not that exciting. I did like the art that was for sale and purchased myself a piece.

Wow what a special place. Detoured here on my way south from Brisbane and glad I stopped. Great coffee, home made fresh food overlooking the water. It was a Sunday and there was a guitarist playing, had a John Butler sound, and just added to the cool vibe. Don't understand why it wasn't packed, the locals are lucky to have such a cafe. And omg those baguettes and sour dough loaves looked amazing, will have to stop in again on the way back to buy some. Cute little gallery attached.

Sheoak Shack is an eclectic little spot down in Fingal Head. If you haven’t been here yet then get a crack on. The new owners haven’t changed the menu, but they have improved all aspects of it. I just had the best vegetarian burger I’ve ever had, decent size, fresh ingredients and the right amount of satay. It’s the same burger I’ve had under the previous ownership just better. Definitely a five star from me! Sorry the photo is not better I was so hungry I forgot to take photos
